I really wanted to like this story before I jumped into it--the blurb and excerpt left me intrigued. I quickly found that I absolutely loved it! Valerie did a great job of giving the characters personality, and I quickly became enamoured with Kelly, our heroine. She was funny and likeable. And the hero, Nick, left me drooling (and I'm a little jealous of Kelly--okay a lot jealous.) He played his role as a hot stud muffin alpha male perfectly. The two play together quite nicely and it was fun to be there to watch.

The storyline was believable and I didn't stop until I'd read the last page. A must read for those looking for some hot quick consumated chemistry.

When I read short erotica I expect sex in large, kinky quantities. Ms. Williamson did not disappoint. Graphic and exciting, each sexual situation was hotter than the last. Unfortunately there were some distracting formatting and editing errors that took me out of a few scenes. Between the sexual encounters, the physical fight scenes were great and I would like to see where Julian and Tabitha go in the future. I gave it 3 1/2 whips. It’s sexy and naughty but the errors were rough ones and took it down half a whip.

The kindness he shows his mother and sister were, for me at least, proof that he was a good guy regardless of his chosen profession and while he seemed somewhat callous about sex-for-hire, the author balanced it well with his personality and demeanor off the clock. Gillian was a nice match for him and though I didn’t get as much a sense of who she was, I liked her and wanted the relationship between her and Ian to progress. The final twist toward the end of the story actually made me laugh out loud. The sex was hotter than hot, too. This story is a definite read for anyone who loves to watch a nice love story grow.

Of all the Lanyon books I've read to date, I would have to say, Out of the Blue is some of Lanyon's best writing yet—Witty, charming, amazingly sensual, and funny—Well, that describes all Lanyon books, but there was something different about this one. I noticed the style is different compared to his other books, but if anything, his choice aids in the action, making the action concise—faster—better. Lanyon hits all the right buttons with his story of lost love and new beginnings set in France during WWI. British ace Bat Bryant and American pilot Cowboy Cooper seem an unlikely pair, yet Lanyon fashions the perfect scenario, feeding into a confrontation that plays out well. Against the odds and despite their wills, Bat and Cowboy work—and they work each other over pretty darn well throughout this story—did I forget to mention this story is hot? And Lanyon writes in these two men's emotions so perfectly, the story is utterly romantic on top of erotic. I give Out of the Blue the ultimate 5 whips, because I have read the story three times in the past week and have laughed aloud and gotten hot and bothered all over again with each reading. It is that good, truly. Readers of historical military and/or M/M erotic romance will absolutely want this one!

When her forward co-worker John hit on her, I was afraid Lisa would ruin everything for a tumble with him. Fortunately, she and Tom forged a friendship with John that ended up strengthening their own – in and out of the bedroom. A great read!

And I love that when it comes to a romance novel. This author is new to me and I will be checking out her backlist and looking forward to her future releases.

The Rosemary Thief is a book that I found to be very well written with the reader's comfort in mind. It is a very quick and intriguing read with such a sweetness to it that I couldn't help but recall the story days later. With such excellent imagery, I actually felt like I was there. This story had me laughing out loud at certain parts and I really loved Brock's character. The ending was perfect! I have never read any work by Ms. Law but based on The Rosemary Thief, I will go out of my way to read more of her work. If you have limited time to read and want a feel good feeling out of a book, I highly recommend The Rosemary Thief by Fiona Law. It's fun, it's sweet and it's a charming little read.

It’s very hot and sexual, but seriously, I felt it was also full of gratuitous sex. Yes, the two main characters had thought about each other over the years, but to fall in bed within minutes of seeing each other? A bit over the top…and then to have it smack of “I love you, man”…it just didn’t ring quite true. This author is wonderful, I’ve read her other stories (wow, check out Summer Sizzle from Cobblestone!)and I’ve been totally drawn in, but this one…not so much. If you want lots of very hot, sensual, sexual scenes, this will totally fulfill your wishes. Otherwise, check out the author’s other stories…

Ian was a very likeable guy as well as being a hottie and Avril had the right amount of ambition and drive that didn’t come across as ultra feminist and was sexy, as well. All in all, I don’t think any reader will be disappointed with Executive Positions.

Add to that fact, the non-jock gets the popular girl, just because he’s a nice guy and she sees that in him, makes the story all the sweeter. A must read if you like to take a little trip back in time!

I enjoyed this book, it was highly erotic, well-written but with just enough romantic elements that I crave to make a story succeed for me. I especially enjoyed the character building of the males, Chad and Philippe, their emotions and personalities were both believable and sensual. Chad had issues that his mortality would forever chain him to and Philippe came into the story damaged but willing to start a new life as both a submissive to Chad and companion/protector to Katie. My only regret was that Chad’s transition from mortality to vampirism was glossed over. For me, it’s all about the details. I know this book is part of a series so perhaps the author went into greater detail about this transitioning elsewhere. Regardless, this was a emotional, sensual read and didn’t disappoint.

The author does a great job of portraying Rob as the strong, silent lover but once behind closed doors, he becomes a sensitive partner for Levi. While Levi did allow his friend’s doubts to color his view of Rob during an especially inebriated birthday celebration, Rob’s love for him brought him back around, showing him that Levi’s friends didn’t have a clue about who the real Rob was. A very nice read!

I enjoyed seeing Jocelyn come back to life and find herself again. Having a good friend like Beth by her side while she did it was nice to see as well.
This story is a quick read with a good flow. Lisette Kristensen keeps the reader interested from the start to the finish. It is definitely a page-turner with very strong characters. I would love to see more adventures of these two friends and many of the people at the party with them.

It was nice to see the development of each of the two characters. Will Connor learn his lesson and come to his understanding about love and what it really means to have it and give it freely. Can Tori grow as well? Will she realize what it means to love and be loved?
Even being heartbroken over her ex-boyfriend Tori is still a feisty and brave woman and Connor is a great man. The author endears Connor to the reader and has you cheering him on in his battle to win Tori.
The Man In The Mirror by Jo Barrett is a sweet story about finding and keeping true love. It is a quick read that warms your heart. I truly enjoyed the flow of this book it never seemed rushed along at all. I defiantly will be looking for more from this author.
My only problem with this story was that it was over so soon. I fell into their world and enjoyed myself so much that I hated to see it end.

Ms. MacRae does a wonderful job of adding emotion to the story which is hard to find in many short stories. She writes in a way that is informative and attention capturing. I felt like Cade dealt with some very real emotions such as grief, denial and acceptance. I give this book a rating of 4 only because at times it seemed to move a bit fast but with a short, it's almost inevitable. I would have loved to see this book in a longer form so I could have gotten to know the characters better. I recommend this book to all who need their daily literary fix of an emotion filled read. This book covers a lot in a very short amount of time. Kudos to Ms. MacRae for telling such a wonderful story that grips the heart and leaves a smile.

With every attempt she tried to make to escape, it was like Roarke could read her mind and was one step ahead of her the entire time. With an amazing sense of humor and smoldering good looks, Roarke was not your everyday foul smelling, ugly as sin pirate. He actually took time to take Jade's needs into consideration. The relationship that Jade and Roarke have is smart, humorous and oh so hot.

Ms. Destler writes with such humor and intelligence. And although this book is short, she manages to cover a lot of emotions within a short period of time. I really enjoyed the time that I spent reading Thief of His Heart because it was so incredibly funny. The end, SIMPLY AMAZING! What a twist of events. I give Thief of his heart 5 smacks for being a highly entertaining read. If you want a short read and a lot of laughs, this book is for you. Beware, Thief of His Heart comes with one sizzling hot pirate! CAN YOU HANDLE IT?

I loved the plot and the characters and the entire concept of this book. With some series or even short reads the story gets boring after a while. It feels like the author is just repeating the same thing over and over again. But not with this story Ms. Blatchey keeps the story focused and something new happens every step of the way. She has a goal for her characters and for the plot to reach and I feel like she has done that here. This book has a great level of suspense, passion, desire, and sex. No emotion is overused and no feeling is lacking between the characters. I love that they grow in this story as well. A lot of quickies lack character growth and development. But Kaydana has a lot to learn and Makreth is just the person to teach her. Makreth isn’t perfect either and since Kaydana has come into his life he starts to grow as a character. They learn to trust, respect and love. It’s a truly gripping read that will hold your attention throughout the entire book. I highly recommend this book!

Kendra was this shy woman who wasn’t sure of herself until Sinclair came along and taught her and showed her everything missing. I really enjoyed watching her grow into a more confident woman who was comfortable with her sexuality and being a submissive. The plot of this story, wow, you can tell that the author planned this out, or has some major writing skills that most writers are lacking.

This author just keeps getting better with her stories. The characters are like people we know so well. This is a superb story and although it seems like a “typical” storyline. It’s not. Ms. Summers knows how to take a storyline that has been used in the past and make it her own, make it unique and something the readers will not be expecting. I highly recommend this book to readers.

Forbidden Island had a very sexually stimulating plot line. Who wouldn't want to go back and answer all the "what ifs" that ran through their minds through the years about someone from their paths. Chantal's character was a woman bound and determined to get answers to her questions. Murphy's character was that hot rich industrialist who I couldn't help but get weak in the knees for. In just a short time, I was able to take a peek into the lives of these two very sensual people.

Forbidden Island is a very erotic and sultry read. Ms. Gentry paints a breathtaking portrait of an island that was like no other. I did feel as though this book centered on the sexual aspect of their lives and the majority of the book was about their sexual escapades. There was not that much of a plot to this book which saddened me because I believe Chantal and Murphy's characters had such a potential to flourish in this book. I would have liked to see a little less of the sexually explicit scenes and more of the relationship building throughout the story.

If you are looking for a stimulating and sexually arousing read, then this is the book for you. It's short enough to read when you have just a few moments and you want to find a book to escape into. I do look forward to reading more of Ms. Gentry's work.

As a writer myself, I can relate to Shelby’s muse-less state. I only wish my muse found its way back in such an erotic way! Watching her huge, sexy neighbor having sex from afar on New Year’s Eve, Shelby’s life takes an interesting turn from recently divorced and unable to write, to excited and creative. Christian unknowingly provides all the fodder she needs for a new book as he introduces her to a world of passion she’d never experienced except through her books. Unfortunately, Christian makes his hatred for the media very clear and Shelby’s intuition keeps her from revealing to him that he has the starring role as hero and sex god in her latest story. When he finds out, he’s furious. I loved the way Tierney Linn manages to fuse hot sex with tenderness. If she hadn’t, the forgiveness by the end of the story would not have seemed believable to me. Christian is a very sexual man with a romantic side. Shelby is a giving woman, willing to give love a second chance. If you want an erotic read with sweet elements, this is a great story for you.

She knows how to build characters who make a lasting impression and characters you grow to love and you want to see them have their happily ever after story. Her plots are always thick and deep, even in her quick reads, they still have a point, and believe me she gets her point across clearly. If you are looking for a new author or a new book to read than I recommend Sloane Taylor and her series: French Tart, French Delight, French Kiss, and French Twist. You can read them in any order, I didn’t find myself lost in any of them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

The only thing I found awkward about this story was the heroine’s name, I wasn’t sure how to pronounce it but Ms. Taylor quickly cleared that up by calling her Doni. The characters were great and strong. The story was wonderfully written. The plot jumps up and grabs you by the arm leading you through this beautiful tale of two people falling in love. *Sigh*…the power of a romance novel! You must get the four books in this series and read them all! You are taken to a fantasyland in every single one. Ms. Taylor will be an author you quickly add to your list. I cannot wait to read more from her out of this series.

Opposites Attract is a very satisfying read on many levels. First, you have the incredible characters. Second, you have the unique plot, and last, the steamy scenes between Jason and Gail. Both characters are very rounded and very different than most characters in other paranormal books. These two characters seem so real to me, they are easy to relate to…well other than the paranormal part of their make. But the way they act towards one another and what lies ahead of them. They jump off the page at you and hold your attention until the very end. It’s a great book and the author Mary Alice Pritchard did an extraordinary job, she’s a new author to me and I can’t wait to see more from her in the future.

I loved this book! It excited me from the beginning to the end. It’s a short read that is living out every fantasy women have. Kelsie gets a chance to explore her sexuality and what her desires are. She’s even surprised at herself with some of them. She’s a strong character. For someone to say this book is strictly sex they would be sadly mistaken. There is a log going on that doesn’t have to do with sex. Kelsie has to please her aunt and make her feel at ease with the home so that the exorcist won’t get rid of her ghosts. If you’re a fan of paranormal or erotica tales than this story will blow you away!

Lisette and Paul are very compelling and strong characters. They are very attracted to one another, but it’s not just sex, there is romance as well. The sex is hotter than hot between these two. I love the fact that Lisette is strong and independent and isn’t afraid to explore her sexuality. It’s a great read and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

It moves rather quickly from one point to another, all very clear and suitable for the story. I can’t wait to read more from this author and I’m sure others will agree with me.
